1: What is your in-game name?
My in game name is: ToxikFlame11
2: How old are you?
I am currently 18
3: What timezone are you in?
I am in the UTC +0 time zone as I live in the UK.
4: How long (roughly) have you been playing FriesNet?
As of the time of me writing this application fries Net has not been launched, however I shall be playing fries Net as an active member upon launch.
5: What is your discord? (e.g johnfries)
My discord username is: ToxikFlame11
6: Do you have any staff members referencing you or have told you to apply, if so who?
No staff members have referenced me to apply.
7: Do you have any prior staffing experiences, if so where and for how long?
I am unsure if this counts but I am the owner of a discord server with over 250 people. In my time managing my discord server I have learnt how to detect people who are being suspicious such as people joining on accounts that were made very recently. I have had to ban multiple people due to various reasons such as posting NSFW content, spam, extremely offensive comments and other behaviours that go against my servers rules and discords TOS. However my discord server has been very quiet recently as I no longer make content on YouTube and as the community I built up have lost interest in that genre due to the game mode no longer receiving updates. I have provided a link to the server if you want to check it out: https://discord.gg/s7e5rbEpDw
I was also the owner of an anarchy realm on the bedrock edition of Minecraft during the era of bedrock where hacking on Minecraft realms was very common. In my time managing my realms server I learnt how to ban people, setup anticheats, how to engage with members and how to build trust with the community. For example, there was a hacker who was giving kits to players at spawn whilst i was asleep, i was notified of this by one of my members when i logged on and many of the members willingly gave up the kits that had been given to them. This shows that I and the players had built a level of trust to where they would do the right thing even though they may want to do another thing.
8: How many hours (on average) can you dedicate per week?
I can dedicate about 70 hours a week when I am in college and when I am not in college or at work I can dedicate about 80-90 hours to fries Net. However, this may vary depending on factors such as my timetable being adjusted, bus and train times changing, the gym, going out for the night with my mates and if I want to spend some time with my family. If for whatever reason I cannot come online for any extended periods of time I will be sure to let the staff team and John know how long I will be gone for and the reasoning behind it.
9: Why do you want to be mod? (Be descriptive, two sentences is not going to get you accepted)
I want to become a mod because I believe I can make a positive impact on the community. For example, I am very active, often staying up very late to play Minecraft as I enjoy playing it. This is useful because I can moderate the in-game chats and player behaviours for long periods of time as I play frequently and for extended periods of time. I am experienced in how Minecraft works, so i can answer any questions players may have, if I do not have the information said player needs I will do my research to help them out the best I can. In my opinion I think that I would be a good applicant for a mod as I do not have any extremist beliefs or political views, and any views I do have I typically keep to myself as I like people to form opinions and views on their own. I typically have good patience with high tense situations, I will try my best to diffuse arguments and confrontations. I want to keep the server fun for people to play and will try my best to fulfil that. I know quite a few people in the community who will most likely be playing Fries Net so I can help them out on things as I know them so it makes things easier I suppose. I am human, and I am aware I have a lot of room for improvement, so I am willing to use this opportunity to help me as a person, and to make the server fun and fair for the community.
10: Why out of all the other applicants should we choose you?
I have briefly touched upon this subject in question 9 but I think I am a worthy applicant for mod as I am very active so I can help out people when needed. I can communicate well with others most of the time, I try to be as helpful as I can be but I am human so I will not know everything. If I was to get mod I would be a lot more mature in the words i say and the actions I do as I would be representing the server and I would not want to tarnish the servers reputation due to me saying something offensive or immature. Overall I would like to think that I am a worthy applicant for mod on Fries Net as I am an active and dedicated player who wishes to play on a server with a chill community where people can have a bit of banter, but I want to be there to make sure nobody crosses the line, breaks the rules or tries to find a loophole in the rules. I am somewhat aware of how to moderate a server but I may need a quick debrief of my responsibilities to ensure I know what I am doing.
11: Do you have any previous punishments?
I do not have any previous punishments on Fries Net as of the time of writing this application. Hopefully it shall stay this way, fingers crossed.
